Refund Policy

This policy explains refund and cancellation rules for Alpheth subscriptions (AIChatFlow and QuantSmith). Project service fees are governed by the signed contract.

Last updated · 2026-10-30

1. Scope

This policy applies to AIChatFlow and QuantSmith subscriptions purchased self-serve through Stripe.

Fees for project services, private deployments and joint development are governed by the signed contract and are outside this policy.

2. Full refund within 7 days

Within 7 calendar days of the subscription start, and with no more than 20% of the period allowance used, you may request a full refund.

Period usage is taken from billing-system records and includes AI replies, backtest units and optimisation runs.

3. Beyond 7 days or beyond usage

Requests outside the conditions above are refunded pro rata for unused days; annual subscriptions are pro-rated by unused whole months.

Such refunds are always reviewed manually. We decide based on usage, breach and abuse records, and explain the reason.

4. Cancelling a subscription

Cancelling does not trigger an automatic refund. After cancellation the current period remains available until it ends, then the account falls back to the free tier.

If substantial usage has already occurred before the period ends, we may decline a pro-rata refund.

5. Exclusions

Subscriptions past the refund window with more than 20% usage; accounts terminated for breach of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy; channel messaging fees, payment processing fees and taxes charged separately by third parties; custom development and consulting hours already consumed.

6. How to request

Email support@alpheth.com with your account email, plan, order or invoice number and the reason for the request.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment channel. Timing depends on the payment provider and bank and is outside our control.

We aim to reply for the first time within 24 hours on business days.

7. Changes

We may update this policy and date it on this page. Requests already accepted are handled under the rules in force at acceptance.
